Forest

To achieve real climate benefits, it is essential to plant new forests that can absorb and sequester carbon dioxide over the long term.

We plant and establish new forests in Northern Europe because the region offers highly favorable conditions for forest growth and is not exposed to extreme weather or illegal deforestation, as seen in other parts of the world. This makes Europe particularly suitable for afforestation, sustainable forest management, and long-term climate initiatives.

Starting in the spring of 2025, we will launch our afforestation project, Forest 2025 LIT, in southern Lithuania.

Frequently asked questions about afforestation

We focus primarily on local planting in the Baltics, ensuring a 100% planting guarantee for all our projects.

We take care of:

  • Project Management
  • Land Preparation
  • Planting
  • Plant Protection
  • Maintenance and Supervision

Our planting is carried out exclusively in regions with low risk of extreme weather or illegal logging.

Choosing the Baltics for afforestation and tree planting offers several advantages that ensure both sustainability and long-term impact:

Strong Forest Growth: The region’s climate and soil conditions promote rapid, healthy forest development.

Clear and Robust Forestry Legislation: Ensures responsible forestry practices and long-term forest protection.

Part of the Baltic Timber Market: The region benefits from stable demand and value within the Baltic Sea timber market.

EU and NATO Membership: Provides political stability, legal security, and reliable regulations.

One hectare of newly planted forest in the Baltics is estimated to absorb and store 2,000 to 3,000 tons of carbon dioxide over a period of 60 years.

Would you like to add a comparison or visual element to emphasize the impact? For example, how this equates to the emissions of cars, flights, or households?

To achieve real climate benefit, it’s essential to plant new forests that actively absorb and sequester carbon dioxide.

We plant on unused pasture and agricultural land, where forest planting was not previously planned — ensuring a real contribution to the fight against climate change.

If planting takes place on land where forestation is already planned, no new forests are created, and the climate benefit is non-existent.

Yes, we issue digital climate and carbon certificates when you offset your emissions by supporting one of our afforestation projects.

Your digital climate certificate makes it easy to communicate and promote your climate efforts to customers and partners.

Share your sustainability initiatives in your own words, and we’ll complement it with detailed information on how many trees you've planted and how much CO2 has been offset.

Tip:
Add a QR code link to your climate page on quotes, invoices, or email signatures to showcase your commitment to climate action.
